XPRESS ASPHALT Premium Blades
Wet / Patterned diamond segments / Laser welded / Low HP floor saws of 20 HP or less

Professional Wet Asphalt Blades for Low-Horsepower Floor Saws
Asphalt cutting on lower-horsepower floor saws requires a blade that can maintain cutting speed, segment stability, and durability while working through abrasive pavement materials.
XPRESS ASPHALT Premium Blades are designed for low-horsepower floor saws of 20 HP or less and are manufactured using patterned diamond technology.
Compared with traditional random mixed diamonds, the patterned diamond design provides faster cutting speed and longer blade life. A sandwich segment structure promotes even wear, while a very hard bond with a very high volume of WC (Tungsten carbide) supports durability in asphalt cutting applications.
The segments are laser welded on both sides to help prevent segment loss, and welding strength is inspected on both sides using DIATOP’s special torque tester for safety.

Q1. What diamond blade is recommended for asphalt cutting with low-horsepower floor saws?
A. The XPRESS ASPHALT Premium Blade is designed for low-horsepower floor saws of 20 HP or less. It uses patterned diamond technology to provide faster cutting speed and longer blade life compared with traditional random mixed diamonds.
Q2. Can the XPRESS ASPHALT Premium Blade be selected for different aggregate hardness levels?
A. Yes. The XPRESS ASPHALT Premium Blade is available with bond options for Very hard, Medium Hard, Medium, Medium Soft, and Soft aggregate conditions, with the corresponding bond codes VS, MS, MM, MH, and VH.
Q3. What features help improve durability and segment retention on the XPRESS ASPHALT Premium Blade?
A. The blade uses a sandwich segment design for even segment wear and a very hard bond containing a very high volume of WC (Tungsten carbide) for high durability. The segments are laser welded on both sides, and welding strength is inspected on both sides using DIATOP’s special torque tester for safety.
